About Spantec
Spantec was founded in 1991 by managing director Roy Beaumont. The company started out as a small operation in Eastwood, then Silverwater, both in Sydney before moving to large premises at Braemar near Mittagong in the Southern Highlands. The modern and largely automated plant is unique to Spantec and has been developed to repeatedly produce high quality products. Roy Beaumont has been heavily involved with the development of the steel framing industry in NSW and was the NSW chairman of National Association of Steel Housing (NASH) for many years. Spantec is a company that prides itself on the innovative product lines it produces. Last year alone we introduced two new products into the market. ColorbeamT is a streamlined coloured architectural beam designed for the home improvement market. Boxspan® Punched pushes the boundaries of beam design for residential joists. Our beams are used in schools, commercial and retail buildings, residential housing and industrial mezzanine floors to name just a few applications.
Spantec's products are sold throughout Australia.
As leaders in light structural steel beams we are
dedicated to producing Stronger, Straighter beams
that are Simpler to build with.
