Screw Gun
The screw gun is the primary tool for anyone working with Boxspan or steel frames. Screw guns can be electric powered or cordless battery powered. When working with light gauge steel an screw gun that has an adjustable clutch (torque settings) is ideal. This makes it easier to install self-drilling and self-tapping tek screws without stripping.
You will also require the right driver for the screws being used:
- 1/4 hex head magnetic socket griver (for hex head screws)
- No. 2 phillips drive bit (for wafer tek and wing tek screws)
The appropriate driver and screws are supplied with each designed system by Spantec. |
